PAW Team gratefully accepts donations of the following:
Items needed for new clinic space:
- shelving, of any kind, but particularly industrial steel shelving for heavy bags of pet food
- space heaters
- pressure-treated wood for repairs/handrail
- extension cords (heavy-duty contractor/outdoor kind)
- surge protector/outlet strips
- large stand-alone sink (stainless steel if possible) with faucet for surgery prep
- dehumidifier for pharmacy room
- router to network 2-3 computers (and an IT consultant to help set it up!)
- concrete or brick garden pavers (any style/type) or gravel for back pathway at exit door
- canopies or large tents as "waiting area" outside clinics
Pet care supplies:
- sealed bags of dog or cat food (general or prescription diets)
- open or expired medications (human or animal) in their original prescription packaging
- used or new e-collars (“cones” for pets after surgery)
- gently used or new pet care gear (leashes, harnesses-urgent need!, collars*, bowls, blankets/bedding, sweaters...)
- bright-colored safety vests for pets and for people
- kitty litter
- daypacks, book bags, and backpacks or soft carriers for pets
- dog backpacks
- crates (all sizes) or wire pens for our clinics
- blankets, sleeping bags, and tarps or heavy-duty plastic bags for people on the streets and their pets to stay dry and warm
(*we can’t accept choke, prong or shock collars; thank you for understanding!)
Office supplies:
- laptop or netbook (for mobile clinics to look up online medical records)
- thumb drives for backup of documents
- copy paper
- ballpoint pens
Clinic supplies - we are always in need of the following mundane but much needed items for our clinics:
- gallon-size and quart-size Ziploc type bags
- toilet paper
- paper towels
- both kitchen and large size trash bags
- large plastic totes with lids to store pet supplies and pet food
Medical supplies wish list:
- vaccines (DHPP/C, Lepto, FeLV, FVRCP, Rabies)
- SNAP tests for heartworm, FeLV/FIV
- dewormer (Drontal/Drontal Plus or similar, Droncit injectable)
- topical flea control (Advantage, Frontline, etc) urgent need!
- topical ear medications
- surgical e-collars (used or new)
- syringes (1cc and 3cc)
- hand sanitizer, medical grade
